First and foremost, the main tip is frequent grooming, even just the basics, will make your job of keeping that sheltie coat easier in the long run. Shelties’ coats can mat pretty quickly and in my experience this breed is generally wimpy when it comes to tugging and tearing at those clumps of fur.
